Last week I joined the National Capital Area Google Technology User Group, NCA-GTUG for short. A friend of mine let me know about it. It’s organized by a mutual acquaintance, Chida Sadayappan. It seems the timing was advantageous as they had a meeting scheduled for the 28th October, which I was able to attend. They had a speaker come in from New York to talk about Google Buzz and OAuth.
I wont try to describe Google Buzz in this post as even Google have a problem describing what it is. I’ll reserve that for another post. I did however configure my Google profile once I got home, I already had a Gmail account.
